The Ministry of Interior’s Child Protection Center, in cooperation with
strategic partners and members of the Permanent Committee for Child Protection,
has launched an awareness campaign under the slogan "Together for a Safe
Summer." Running from July 6th to August 13th, the campaign aims to
enhance community awareness regarding child safety during the summer vacation.
The campaign focuses on preventive measures to be taken
during recreational activities and in public places. It also includes warnings
against the dangers of leaving children unattended inside vehicles and
emphasizes the importance of direct supervision. Furthermore, the campaign
highlights safety procedures related to swimming and visiting beaches and
pools, stressing the necessity of adhering to preventive requirements and
providing direct supervision of children.
The campaign also sheds light on the importance of
positively investing a child's time during the summer vacation by engaging in
purposeful educational, recreational, and sports activities.
