Ministry of Interior Celebrates Safer Internet Day
10 Feb 2026
The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Ministry of Interior Child
Protection Centre, celebrates Safer Internet Day, observed on February 10 each
year. This comes as part of its commitment to enhancing community awareness of
the safe and responsible use of the digital space, and keeping pace with the
rapid developments in technology and artificial intelligence.
The Ministry of Interior Child Protection Centre
launched an awareness campaign in conjunction with Safer Internet Day under the
slogan “Together for a Safer Internet.” The campaign includes publishing
guidance messages and educational content عبر
social media platforms, aiming to promote a culture of safe internet use and
strengthen the responsibility of individuals, families, and society in
protecting young people from digital risks.
The
campaign also includes a series of awareness events and educational workshops
targeting students, young people, parents, and teachers. These initiatives aim
to enhance digital safety concepts, protect children from online risks, and
empower families to engage responsibly with modern technologies in the digital
environment.
