The Ministry of Interior celebrates Emirati Children’s Day under the theme “The Right to Digital Knowledge,” which was announced by the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood for the year 2026, under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Nation,” President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation.

This theme reflects the importance of empowering children to access knowledge safely and responsibly amid the rapid digital transformation.

In this context, the Ministry of Interior renews its firm commitment to enhancing children’s safety in the digital world by raising awareness of safe technology use, intensifying awareness initiatives, and developing systems and policies that keep pace with growing digital challenges. It also affirms its commitment to strengthening cooperation with various stakeholders and members of society to build an integrated system that protects children from online risks and fosters in them the values of digital responsibility and positive citizenship.

This comes within the framework of an advanced digital environment that has become an integral part of a child’s daily life, where technology is no longer merely a means of accessing information, but has evolved into a broad space for learning, interaction, creativity, and knowledge creation, as well as a key factor in shaping personality, developing skills, and preparing for future demands.
