The Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates hosted the WeProtect Global Summit 2024 in the capital, Abu Dhabi, on December 4 and 5, 2024, under the title “Looking to the Future.”

This global summit brought together world leaders, decision-makers, experts, civil society organizations and private sector institutions to help identify and address negative technological trends that lead to child exploitation and abuse online.

Holding this summit in the capital, Abu Dhabi, is a great proof and indicator of the interest of the UAE and its wise leadership in protecting children and families from all the risks they may be exposed to in light of the rapid digital development and the tremendous technological change that is unparalleled in its speed.
