Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, witnessed the graduation of (54) members of the Ministry of Interior and the General Police Commands in the country, who completed a program that qualifies them as specialists in the field of child protection, at the exhibition grounds in Abu Dhabi, on the sidelines of “ISNR 2024.”

The graduates passed the approved period of training, which resulted in refining their skills in the field of law, protection, response, and mechanisms for interviewing children.

This program aimed to qualify a specialized staff in the field of dealing with reports against children, raise the competencies of workers in the field of child protection, and acquire the necessary skills.

The program included the themes of children’s rights law, quality of life (mental alertness), the national theme (police, prosecution, and courts), the behavioral theme, mechanisms for gathering evidence, and the specialized quality of life theme.

The program also included field visits, workshops with the Public Prosecution and the courts, and a number of successful presentations, experiments and successful applied topics.
