The 6th Forum of the Global Network of Religions for Children, hosted by the Alliance of Religions for Safer Communities, concluded in Abu Dhabi. The forum issued a global statement called the “Abu Dhabi Call.” This important forum was held in the presence of international religious leaders, thinkers and specialists who participated over (3) days in-depth dialogues that enhance efforts to protect children and preserve their dignity, by unifying visions and viewpoints, and enhancing the role of religious leaders in finding challenges to the risks facing children around the world. The statement was announced at a ceremony held at Wahat Al Karama, attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the Emirates Fatwa Council, and Reverend Kishi Miyamoto, President of Arigatou International, in the presence of children from all over the world.
